Cooking Recommendation
Thawing: For best results, thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Pat dry with paper towels before cooking.
Pan-Seared Tuna Steak (Serves 2):
-
Season: Brush thawed steaks with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, and a pinch of garlic powder.
-
Heat: Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat until very hot.
-
Sear: Place steaks in the pan and cook 2–3 minutes per side for medium-rare, or 4–5 minutes per side for well-done.
-
Rest: Remove from heat and let rest 2 minutes before serving.
Tips:
-
Tuna is best enjoyed medium-rare—avoid overcooking to keep it moist.
-
Pair with lemon, soy sauce, sesame, or fresh herbs.
-
Great served over rice, salads, or with grilled vegetables.
Grilling Option: Grill over high heat for 2–3 minutes per side for a smoky finish.
Note: Do not consume raw.
